Another police association has endorsed Matt Hall for his re-election to Michigan’s 42nd state House District. Now the Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) has given their full support and endorsed Rep. Hall for his election to Michigan’s 42nd state House District.
The POAM is the largest organization of Police Officers in our state. They represent over 12,000 law enforcement employees in Michigan. They know that Matt Hall has their backs when it comes to protecting them from the “defund the police” or “redirect some of the police funding” politicians and outside groups. In Matt’s continuing effort to protect Michigan communities, Rep. Hall of Richland Township voted to move forward with a plan to create a permanent and stable funding mechanism for Michigan’s secondary road patrol. This program funds sheriffs’ departments patrolling roads outside of Michigan’s cities and villages
In their endorsement letter the POAM stated:
“We continually strive to protect and improve the safety, working conditions and economic security of our members. We believe it is imperative to support candidates who actively promote these goals”
